Make Your May the Fourth Colorful!

May the Fourth is affectionately referred to as “Star Wars Day” by Star Wars fans and pun lovers everywhere! My family usually celebrates at Hollywood Studios, but this year, we’re watching The Rise of Skywalker on Disney +! And to make May the Fourth even more colorful, I’m going to grab a few Star Wars coloring books and these cool, Star Wars themed colored pencils!

Each pencil in this set represents a different character or event from Star Wars! The box has a galactic feel to it and pays homage to the opening scene from each movie. But the color names are what really make these pencils fun! My husband loves puns, so I’ve developed an appreciation for them over the years too. Each pencil has an awesomely punny name! My favorites are Princess Leialac, Maroonium Falcon, and R-2 Deep Blue! Return of the Redi also cracks me up! This set from popcolors is $14.99 and is sure to make your May the Fourth more colorful!

Once you have your colored pencils, you’ll need something to color! Star Wars: 100 Images to Inspire is full of detailed, complex drawings that will keep you busy for hours! If you’re looking for something that requires a little less patience, the Darth Vader and Family coloring book contains humorous images of Darth Vader rocking some serious dad vibes! I love how sweet little Luke and Leia look, and the droids are beyond adorable!

Coloring is a great way to relax and deal with anxiety–two things we could all use more of right now! I love the thought of coloring my way through a May the Fourth celebration at home! Tell us what you think in the comments!
