It may seem strange to talk about the holiday season alredy but it is just around the corner at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World! That means sleigh bells are jingling and the countdown to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has officially begun (I’ve already booked my resort!)
In case you weren’t aware, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event that celebrates the most wonderful time of the year at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Guests can enjoy festive entertainment, overlays on classic rides, a storybook holiday atmosphere, special characters, and sweet treats.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates
The 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates will run on select nights from Sunday, November 8 to Tuesday, December 22.
- Nov. 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 29
- Dec. 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22
One great thing about this special ticketed event is that you can get in hours before the party actually starts! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party guests can enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m. Even though the party officially starts at 7:00 p.m., that gives you three extra hours to kickstart Magic Kingdom fun!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets
The special event tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will become available on July 9 for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. For all other guests, tickets will be available starting July 16.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Character Greetings
Finding the special character photos is one of my favorite things to do. The lines can get crazy, so keep that in mind and plan accordingly!

Meet Santa at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Meet Santa at Santa’s Christmas Carnival! Head on over to Storybook Circus to visit a friend from the North Pole.
Located near Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer, this is the perfect stop for young families. In addition to meeting Santa, guests can also participate in crafts and meet other friends bursting with Christmas cheer.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade
This parade is tied for my favorite parade with the Boo to You parade for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! The characters include dancing gingerbread men, whimsical ballroom dancers, beloved marching toy soldiers, and upbeat holiday music and scents that will immediately have you on your feet in the holiday spirit!
See the magic of Christmas and many Disney characters dressed in their holiday attire before the parade concludes with a special appearance by Santa Claus as he wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
Hosted by Minnie Mouse, this nighttime spectacular combines beloved holiday classics — such as “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” — with stunning pyrotechnics, castle projections, and lighting effects.
Cinderella Castle will be wrapped like a present in vibrant holiday scenes, all synchronized perfectly with the music and fireworks above. Gather the elves in front of the castle to view the projections or watch the fireworks display from a variety of vantage points throughout Magic Kingdom, with great views available in areas like Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
During this energetic performance on the Cinderella Castle stage, Disney friends show why it’s the happiest season of all. Guests will find their feet tapping along to the medley of joyful tunes as live performers and characters like Clarabelle Cow, Daisy Duck, and Woody from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story films make appearances throughout the show.
Frozen Holiday Surprise & Dance Parties in the Park
You are invited to ring in the season with Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies at Cinderella Castle as it transforms into a frozen wonderland during Frozen Holiday Surprise.
The dazzling entertainment doesn’t stop there. Guests can show off their jingle bell rock moves as they dance the night away with holiday friends and event DJs:
- Club Tinsel at Rocket Tower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland
- Disney Junior Jingle Jam at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Tomorrowland
Rides Available at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
There will be a few twists on some favorite rides at Magic Kingdom with holiday-themed makeovers on Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Mad Tea Party, Jungle Cruise, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.

The magical offerings don’t stop there. Once again, a variety of cookies, festive beverages, and more will be handed out to guests at select locations throughout Magic Kingdom. These are included in the cost of the ticket and are the perfect holiday treat as guests take in the seasonal sights. There are also special treats you can purchase, as seen above!
