Christmas is less than a hundred days away, and that news makes me equally excited and stressed. I can’t wait for Christmas lights and peppermint mochas, but I’m not really ready for the busyness that comes with the celebrations. I am, however, very ready to decorate my tree—even more so after seeing this year’s new additions to the Ear Hat ornament collection from Disney!
Each Ear Hat ornament represents a different Disney character or movie. While each one is easily recognizable, the details are what truly make these special!
Of course, Mickey and his friends have their very own ornaments! Mickey and Pluto are covered in a soft, felt-like material while Goofy and Minnie are made of resin. All of these have fun details, but I especially love Pluto! His dog bowl ear even has his name on it!
Ear hat ornaments have been around for a while, but Disney added quite a few new characters this year. The Coco one is sure to be a big hit this year and would also look fabulous as a Halloween decoration! The Zootopia ornament is two-sided; it has Nick Wilde on the back. And Bing Bong even has sparkly whiskers!
All of the ornaments have some sort of decorations on the back as well. Most are pretty simple, but I actually like the back of the Wreck-It Ralph ornament more than the front. I love Vannellope’s sugar cookie medal.
Somehow, even a few attractions have been turned into ear hats for this collection. The castle is lovely and Space Mountain looks very cool, but the Small World one is stunning! I wish this one was an actual ear hat. I would totally rock this!
It’s no secret that I love my princesses, and their ornaments are perfection! From Belle’s dishes to Cinderella’s pumpkin, these ornaments will make any tree a dream come true!
A few of these ornaments can be found on ShopDisney and the Shop Disney Parks app, but I have only seen the majority of these at Days of Christmas in Disney Springs. They will probably become more readily available as the Christmas season draws nearer, but if you don’t want to take a chance, shopthemeparks.com can help you out.
