Hey there, fashionistas! I have news today on the fashion front. Remember back when we all flipped out over the Disney x Coach collection? Well, here is a new reason to break out those credit cards. And this time, it’s for a good cause!
To celebrate Coach’s 75th Anniversary, Disney is once again partnering with the iconic brand for a new collection. The Vintage Auction will benefit The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The collection will also feature bags inspired by fashionable celebs like Chloe Grace Moritz and Kate Bosworth. But you know that I am way more excited for the Disney designs!
Okay, enough build up. Let’s take a look at the bags!
Check out this super cute vintage saddle bag! The bag features a hand-painted illustration of Dumbo. This is truly a match made in fashion heaven. Coach and Dumbo are both celebrating their 75th anniversaries and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate!
And this wouldn’t be a Disney x Coach collection without an appearance by Mickey Mouse. The vintage dinky bag is hand painted and features everyone’s favorite mouse. Plus, I am loving these colors for fall, what about you?
The last bag in the Disney x Coach collection is another vintage inspired saddle bag, with hand painted artwork of Bambi. The rich, deep red is perfect for the cool weather heading our way and the dark brown leather will definitely take you through winter.
Any of these bags would be a one-of-a-kind piece in any Disney fan’s collection. So how do you get them? Well, that’s the tricky part. These bags aren’t available for regular purchase. Instead, they will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
The first $50,000 in sales from this auction will benefit The Costume Institute at The Metropolitan Museum of Art to ensure the preservation of fashion history and advance fashion as an art form. The auction will launch online on October 19 at noon EST and will be available until October 28 at 5 p.m. EST.
How much would you bid for these Disney x Coach bags? Which one is your favorite? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
