A new Dooney and Bourke surprised us in Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom on Thursday! Although the pattern is familiar, the color and styles are new to us.
As you can see, the pattern is the much beloved Sketch that has been a staple in the parks for years. This version is completely black, although when the light hits it just right, it has a slightly metallic sheen to it. This satchel is slightly larger than the Zip Zip Satchel and does include both a shoulder strap and a dust bag. This bag retails for $348.
The other style released in this pattern is a tote. I love the turn-lock clasp! This is a large satchel; it will hold quite a bit! This one also has reinforced corners and a dust bag. It retails for $468.
These bags are a bit pricier than the Disney Dooneys we are familiar with. A Cast Member told me that these are leather bags as opposed to the coated cotton bags normally sold in the parks and on the app. As of today, these are not available at Uptown Jewelers, and we do not know if they will eventually appear on-line and in different locations.
