A surprise for Disney Dooney and Bourke fans popped up on the shelves of Disneyland this past weekend! For the first time, a holiday pattern was released! I can’t speak for anyone else but I am beyond excited! It’s like the perfect early Christmas gift!
The Disney Christmas Dooney and Bourke pattern features everyone’s favorite couple, Mickey and Minnie, dressed in festive attire and participating in sledding, exchanging gifts, and even sharing a sweet holiday kiss. The main colors of the bag are the traditional holiday colors of white, red, and green, and the handles and trim are a light tan color. Intermixed with the happy couple are pictures of the castle, woodland animals, hearts, bows, snowflakes, and the most adorable Santa Mickey hat you’ve ever seen! This bag was released in crossbody, tote, and wristlet styles. A very special thanks to Marie Morales for the pictures of these gorgeous bags!
This pattern was not advertised ahead of time and was only released in Disneyland, where it sold out in a matter of hours. So far, they have not been seen at Disney World, Disney Store online, or the Shop Disney Parks App. It was officially announced yesterday that these bags will be available November 11th at Walt Disney World and on the Shop Disney Parks App. Even though I don’t normally carry a holiday handbag, this one is just too cute to pass up! I am dying to get my hands on one!

Just an FYI, I was there yesterday and saw the bag in the morning. I went back around 4 to buy it and they were gone. When I asked, they said they had not meant to put them out, they are not to actually be released until Nov 11th. He even called and asked if he could sell me one since I had seen it earlier and planned to get it, but they said they were not truly allowed to sell them until Nov 11th and it was mistakenly put out early.
I LOVE this bag. Did you ever get one? I really want one and this is the only place I found them online!
