Disney Honors Veterans Throughout November
Disney’s tribute extends far beyond this special merchandise collection! November is National Veterans and Military Families Month. Throughout the month, Disney will recognize veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Special stories, tributes, and moments of recognition will celebrate those who have served our country. On November 11, both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park will host special Veterans Day Flag Retreat ceremonies.
Disney has a long history of supporting the military community. In fact, I learned from the Parks Blog that Walt Disney and his brother Roy both answered the call to serve during World War I.
