It’s no secret that I am obsessed with handbags, especially Disney ones. One of my favorite handbag brands is Loungefly. They have darling designs and fabulous quality, all while keeping the price point fairly affordable. I was super excited when Loungefly released the above picture on their Facebook page. We have almost no information on these bags other than that they are coming soon. So, let’s concentrate on the picture itself. The first things I noticed were the ears! These bags remind me somewhat of the Kate Spade and Coach releases. They even have Minnie’s signature bow! The writing underneath the bow says Minnie Mouse (instead of Kate Spade). Mickey didn’t get left out either; there is an adorable mini backpack with ears and the buttons found on Mickey’s pants! Mini-backpacks are quite trendy right now, but this one looks really unique. There is also what looks to be a zip-around wallet in the same style.
In the center of the picture, we see a tote with both Mickey and Minnie in a somewhat vintage art style. You can just see a hint of Minnie’s blue polka dot dress, which is one of my favorites and one we don’t see her in very often. Another tote is hinted at on the left side of the picture, but unfortunately, we can only see the back of it. I’m loving the bright red color, though, and can’t wait to see the design on it!
We don’t yet know a release date or exact prices for these new styles. The above picture appears to be in a store, which would lead us to believe the release date is soon. The picture said Coming this Fall. Loungefly bags generally average about $75-$100, and I’m betting that these bags will fall within that price range as well.
