The Monsters Inc. series is a favorite for many Disney fans, and I can totally see why! It has lovable and interesting characters, a unique plot line, and gorgeous animation. For years, Fashionistas have been asking for more Monsters merchandise, and Disney seems to be listening. The last two months have seen the release of The I Am Ear Hat Dooney and Bourke collection which featured a few Monsters Inc. characters as well as the hard-to-find Monsters University spirit jersey. And now, there is a new Monsters Inc. dress from The Dress Shop at Cherry Tree Lane! Other than the Christmas dress, this is the first new design to be released since The Dress Shop opened.

The new dress is in the same style as the Tiki Room and Orange Bird dresses released early last spring. This is a flattering style with a bit of stretch, and it comes in sizes XS through 3XL! It really is made to fit every body type! The pattern features different bedroom doors (and yes, Boo’s door is on there too!) with some of our favorite characters peeking out. Boo, Sully, Mike, and Randall all make an appearance on this dress.
The Dress Shop is known for offering accessories to go with the dresses they carry. So far, there aren’t any specific bags or jewelry pieces to accent this one (although I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this dress is a sign of a soon-to-come Pixar bag!), but the I Am Ear Hat bag looks cute with this design, especially if you can find one with good Monsters Inc. placement.
This new dress retails for $118, but it isn’t on the Ahop Disney Parks app or shopdisney.com just yet. If you just can’t wait or don’t want to risk this one never making it to a shopping site, the Disney Fashionista personal shopper, Diane at shopthemeparks.com, will gladly help you out HERE.
