Her Universe is a wardrobe staple for Fashionistas who love the Star Wars and Marvel arcs of the Disney rainbow. I’m a huge fan of both franchises, and I get positively giddy each time Her Universe announces a new line. I have been waiting for the newest pieces since they were announced a couple of months ago, and a few of them have now shown up in Hollywood Studios.
My very favorite piece of the collection–and quite possibly any collection ever–is this fabulous 50’s style skirt featuring an AT-AT walker. I love the pale blue and gray color scheme and the slightly cheeky play on the poodle skirt. Paired with the lighter gray cardigan embroidered with SW, this outfit is absolute perfection and a necessity for my fall wardrobe. And the best part of this outfit is that both pieces are on sale at heruniverse.com right now! The skirt is $47.92 and the cardigan is $35.92, which is much less than these cost in the parks ($75 for the skirt and $55 for the sweater.)
This little dress featuring different Star Wars Tatooine scenes is just lovely. In fact, one might even say that it’s just peachy! This color does strike me as being more appropriate for spring or summer, but the dress is inspired by Tatooine, which has a sandy topography. The background color of the dress echoes the Tatooine landscape. This piece retails for $74.99 in the parks, but it is also on sale at heruniverse.com for $55.92. That’s quite a deal!
Both of the above shirts have a vintage vibe which I adore! I love Wicket the Ewok, who is the main star of the shirt, but if you look closely, you can also see CP3O and R2D2, as well as an AT-AT walker and the silhouette of the Death Star. This one retails for $29.99 at the parks, but it’s available at boxlunch.com for $28.90, and right now, Box Lunch is offering 20% off. The BB8 cold shoulder top is light-weight but has beautiful orange and yellow colors, making this a perfect shirt for transitioning into fall. I could not find this shirt on-line, but it retails for $36.99 at Hollywood Studios.
If your style is simple and classic, this raglan tee is just what you need. It features the iconic Star Wars motto and a simple black and white color scheme. Sometimes, simplicity is perfection, and this is truly one of those times! Although this design is available on the Her Universe website, this style is not. The raglan appears to only be available in the parks. It costs $36.99.
