This April Parks Foodie Guide features tons of tasty treats and beverages including Earth Month treats and other scrumptious options! Let’s dive in!
Walt Disney World Resort
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
At Restaurantosaurus you can pick up a Sea Turtle Cupcake (graham cracker cupcake, key lime pie filling, and guava gelée with vanilla buttercream topped with a fruit snack sea turtle) and head over to Restaurantosaurus Lounge to wash it down with the Crave the Wave Cocktail (vodka, blue curaçao, lemonade, and lemon wheel)! At Creature Comforts, you can grab a Honey Bee Cupcake (orange cake, honey Bavarian filling, and honey frosting with white chocolate honeycomb) and then head over to Satu’li Canteen to grab a Kiwi Margarita (kiwi flavoring beverage syrup with lime, sour, and tequila) to wash it down!
Isle of Java has fabulous offerings like the Cotton Top Lagoon (a frozen blend of blue raspberry and lemonade topped with a wave of cotton candy), the Red Crowned Crane (Frozen Coke and frozen Cherry Coke topped with strawberry cotton candy with or without rum), and The Loggerhead (sour Apple Sprite with green sugar–rim, sour fruit snack worms, and a glow cube ). Flame Tree Barbecue also has The Loggerhead and a precious Flamingo Cupcake (strawberry cake filled with strawberry compote, guava frosting, and strawberry crisp pearls topped with a sugar flamingo)!
You can pick up a First Magnitude Draft (Honey Bee Citrus Blonde 2021 – Refreshing and balanced beer brewed with honey for a satisfyingly sweet finish and a hint of orange zest) at Thirsty River Bar, Nomad Lounge, or Dino-Bites Snacks. You can also grab a Yeti Sunset (whiskey, strawberry, and lychee lemonade) at Thirsty River Bar, a Lion’s Fury (Jungle Juice and black cherry liqueur–infused bourbon whiskey with a cinnamon whiskey floater and a fiery glow cube) at Dawa Bar, and a Mother Earth (gin and infused tea garnished with mint and lemon peel) at Nomad Lounge.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
At Gasparilla Island Grill, you can pick up an absolutely precious Earth Day Bee Hive Cake (buttermilk-honey chiffon cake with crunchy almond mousse covered in toasted meringue.
At Fife & Drum Tavern you can grab a Half Note Float that was inspired by Soul! This float features layered Fanta Strawberry, Minute Maid Lemonade, and Fanta Blue Raspberry slushy with vanilla ice cream and half note white chocolate garnish!
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
The fabulous weekend brunch at Olivia’s Cafe is back! You can now enjoy classic brunch favorites and specialty cocktails every Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 am to 2 pm! Choose from fabulous meals like Olivia’s Signature Chicken and Waffles, Banana Bread French Toast, and Crab Cake Eggs Benedict!
At Blue Bayou Restaurant you will soon be able to try new beverage options! The restaurant will open soon after the parks reopen, so hopefully, we will have a date soon! The new options will fit in with the story and spirit of the restaurant and cater to popular Guest requests! New offerings will include wine, beer, a specialty Hurricane Cocktail, and a celebration sparkling wine package. You will also be able to chow down on classic favorites like the Surf and Turf and taste new seasonal takes on the non-alcoholic Mint Julep beverage!
Downtown Disney District
Head over to the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Cart to grab a Pickle Corn Dog! This is a panko-crusted dill pickle corn dog that is served with a side of peanut butter. I think I would love this odd combination!
At Ballast Point you can celebrate Earth Day with a special limited-time Linguini and Kale Pesto Salad (linguini, house-made kale and walnut pesto, sun dried tomato, arugula, and pecorino with lemon zest).
Earl of Sandwich (also available at Disney Springs) is offering the Le Frenchy Sandwich for a limited time! This sandwich includes smoked ham, brie, and mustard sauce on Earl of Sandwich signature artisan bread!
Salt & Straw now has an entire line of treats inspired by everyone’s favorite cereals! There is the Pots of Gold & Rainbows (whole-grain cereal in cream for that bottom-of-the-bowl sweetened milk before stirring in mountains of rainbow ‘mallows), OffLimits’ Dash Cold Brew Cocoa Crisps (coffee and dessert all at once with this cold brew ice cream swirled with malty fudge and coffee and cocoa spheres enveloped in salty chocolate bark), Peanut Butter Captain Munch (dairy-free, starchy oat ice cream with peanut butter-coated cereal clusters and peanut butter swirl). There are also Snap ‘N Crackle Marshmallow Treats (brown butter treats pressed and toasted with marshmallow into a lacy Florentine in a rich, malty graham ice cream) and Cornflake Cookies with Marionberry Jam (swirls of house-made marionberry jam with malty cereal-flecked ice cream and crumbled brown butter sugar cookies)!
These fabulous Disney Parks reusable bamboo utensils are the perfect way to reduce waste and try all of your favorite snacks! They will be available at select locations in the spring while supplies last and come in a travel pouch with a clip so you can easily carry them with you!
