Now This Is How You Dress To Celebrate Disneyland’s 60th Birthday!

I admit that I unable to attend Disneyland’s 60th birthday on Friday, July 17th, 2015. I wish I had been able to but I plan to make up for it when I am there in a few short weeks for D23. In the meantime, I was thrilled to have friends send me pictures of some of the stylish clothes worn by attendees. I also saw pictures on Disney Style Blog that I thought I should share. They are they fabulous! These people really put some thought into what they would wear to celebrate Disneyland’s 60th birthday and I totally appreciate that! Whether they went back in time to the 50’s or showed their Disney Side in a more obvious kind of way, these people rocked it. Let’s take a look.

Blue_Skirt_2 Skirt_1

This couple really impressed me. The skirt is handmade by this Disney addict AND it lights up! She did an outstanding job! Each of them is also wearing a Mickey bow tie and Mickey ears. They look like they could have been at the grand opening back in the 50’s and that adds another dimension to this couple and their look. They really thought this through and did an incredible job!

Pinocchio_1

Disney Bounding as Pinocchio?? Incredible! I admit I have yet to see this while I am at the Disney Parks. He looks so dapper! This is one look I wouldn’t expect to see and yet I am so happy that I did.

Couple_2

While I am on the topic of Disney Bounding, check out Rapunzel and Flynn! Another example of a well thought out look for a day of celebrating Disneyland’s birthday!

Red_Minnie_Skirt

This lovely fashionista made this Mickey skirt all by herself as well as the hat… which has Mickey ears! You can’t see them well in this picture but they are there. The style of the outfit is also perfect for the era of Disneyland’s birth. She did a wonderful job!

Black_and_White_Minnie_Style_2

This is something I would wear in a heartbeat. The Mickey ears, the black and white skirt with the big red bow AND the red bow belt?? The Minnie Mouse Loungefly purse (that we have talked about many times on the website) and cute peep toe shoes. I even own cat eye sunglasses! This woman could be my fashionista best friend. I am also loving the parasol. This look is perfection to me.

This is also a fan made dress with, what appears to be, personally designed fabric! What an incredible idea! This is definitely a one of a kind dress that could only be for the celebration of Disneyland’s 60th birthday! Another job well done!

There were so many different ways these Disney fans could dress to celebrate Disneyland’s 60th birthday and I think they all went above and beyond! I am proud to share their looks on the Disney Fashionista site. Did I miss any looks you saw and think should be featured? Let us know in the comment box below!
