I look through a lot of Disney home décor to find pieces I love to share with you. This personalized Mickey sign from TheCraftShackCo on Etsy immediately jumped out to me. And then my wallet immediately popped open so I could buy it! This fun Disney-inspired sign will add that extra touch of magic to your home.
This first style features a monogram style that is just so intricate and pretty. It is the perfect piece for any entryway, living room, or anywhere else you want to show your love of Disney. I think it’s the perfect little piece for showing off how much Disney means to your family and to let guests know they are entering a Disney home. This is actually the style that I purchased, and you can see the finished product of my piece below.
For those looking for all the Mickey style, but with a more simplified design, you can also get this piece with a name written out. There is no reason that you have to stick with first names either, so you could totally still use your last name for a family piece. However, if you have a Disney kid, I think the nameplate would look super special in a bedroom.
These pieces are super light weight and can be easily hung anywhere. You don’t have to worry about them crashing to the floor. When I was designing my son’s nursery, the weight of pictures and décor was a concern for me. I wanted to hang a piece of art over his crib, but I worried about it falling off the wall and hitting him. Maybe it was just first-time-mom anxiety, but I would have felt much better with something like this.
These signs would also make a great gift! Use them for weddings, housewarming gifts, anniversary presents, or baby shower gifts for any Disney fan.
