National Polka Dot Day is Minnie Mouse’s unofficial holiday, and Disney Springs knows how to celebrate! Starting on January 18 and continuing through the 22nd, guests wearing polka dots will be able to take advantage of special discounts and offers. The specifics of this have not been announced as of yet, but we’ll keep you updated throughout the week. Although this celebration of dots will last all weekend, Sunday is the main event! Minnie herself will be making appearances from 1-5. Last year, she had several wardrobe changes, and it was so much fun to see her in different outfits!
This year, it seems that Disney has created at least one piece of merchandise to commemorate Rock the Dots. This is a light-weight acrylic tumbler done in shades of gold. The lid is a beautiful rose gold color and Minnie is shown in a gold polka dotted skirt against a gold star background. The back has the Rocks the Dots logo.
Rock the Dots was one of my favorite Disney special events last year, and I’ve been looking forward to it for several weeks.
