As I get ready this morning to head to the opening of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, the weather may not say Spring has sprung )it’s 43 degrees) but the new 2019 Flower and Garden Festival Dooney and Bourke bags sure do!
We had shared that the rumor was the bag would be white with butterflies but it was only yesterday we had heard the rumor that the butterflies were representative of each character and it is true!
The above photo is the crossbody silhouette that is available for $248. What the above shows are that the butterflies are like the Ear Hat designs in which each butterfly represents a different character. I see Goofy, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Rapunzel at a quick glance. It also shows that placement on this bag is EVERYTHING. Pluto is cut off which gives you an idea of what will happen overall with this print. It is a larger print and placement of your favorite butterfly will be something you need to look into. There are flowers in the mix (obviously) so that makes for a large print to work with.
This wallet shown on shopDisney actually has pretty great placement for the most part. It also shows that there are small Mickey silhouettes mixed in! I am loving the print! I am also wondering what the lining looks like but I won’t be able to see that until I get there in less than 3 hours. The wallet retails for $158.
The tote bag is the 3rd silhouette available and it retails for $268. It has a little zipper on the front and from the details, I’m reading it doesn’t have a zipper closure on the top. The hang tag is lovely, though!
