Stitch Crashes the Wine & Dine Half Marathon with Brooks

With just 11 days until the next runDisney event, Brooks is turning up the excitement with a sneak peek at their latest Disney collaboration. Warning: Ohana on the run! Stitch is bringing his intergalactic energy (and a little mischief) to the Wine & Dine Half Marathon. The new design is equal parts performance and play. Get ready as Stitch crashes the Wine & Dine Half Marathon with Brooks.

This shoe combines a tropical tone, playful patterns, and out-of-this-world details to keep you running strong. That’s not all that’s new! Brooks has reimagined their box design. Check out the fresh new packaging! The limited-edition shoe launches during the Half Marathon Health & Fitness Expo. Those interested in purchasing at the Expo can join a virtual queue system. Brooks’ runDisney page notes that members can get first access to future Brooks × runDisney releases, and it restocks select limited-edition drops online for those not attending the race.

The Glycerin 22 features everyone’s favorite alien! Notice the multiple nods to Experiment 626 throughout the design. Stitch greets us with his mischievous smile on the outside heel of the shoe, while his name appears on the other side.. The interior lining of the shoe features a tropical plant theme featuring hibiscus and a circular 626 logo. RunDisney gets a nod on the shoelace hold with an icon of Mickey Mouse. However, the best details by far are the two bite marks out of the logo on the side of the shoe.

Many fans online were surprised to see the alien themed shoes, as the races are themed after Mushu and Mulan, Olaf, Lady and the Tramp, and Flora, Fauna and Merryweather. But like I said, Stitch Crashes the Wine & Dine Half Marathon with Brooks!
