The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic has named Wounded Warrior Project as the 2024 charity beneficiary for the 15th annual event. Taking place during National Veterans and Military Families Month, Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16, this event is a must-attend.
Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic Names 2024 Charity Beneficiary
By now, you already know that the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic is one of my favorite events. Besides the amazing food, drink, and atmosphere, it’s an amazing opportunity to celebrate and support a great cause. This year, the event has named Wounded Warrior Project as the charitable beneficiary. The nonprofit organization will receive a monetary donation comprised of event proceeds.
In 2023, the charity beneficiary was Friends of Fisher House Orlando.
Wounded Warrior Project
Founded in 2003, Wounded Warrior Project, headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., helps veterans who served in the military on or after Sept. 11, 2001, and incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound during or after service. The nonprofit’s free programs and services include mental health, career counseling, and long-term rehabilitative care. The organization will also be represented at the event, offering thousands of attendees an opportunity to learn more about its worthy cause.
“Giving back is an important part of our mission at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and as a veteran myself, Wounded Warrior Project is a cause that’s particularly special to me,” said Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Area General Manager Sean Verney. “We’re humbled to partner with this truly life-changing organization for this landmark year of our Food & Wine Classic.”

The Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic offers guests unlimited tastings in a street party atmosphere, featuring culinary and beverage selections from the hotel’s award-winning restaurants amidst a festive backdrop of live entertainment on the hotel’s scenic causeway. The event runs from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Nov. 15 and Nov. 16.
