The Darren Wilson UP Ear Hat Is Finally Here!

It seems like forever ago that we announced the Darren Wilson UP Ear Hat was coming. In reality, it’s only been a couple of weeks. As every fashionista knows, that feels like an eternity when it’s something you really want!

The UP Ear hat was released this morning on shopDisney HERE. We have also been told that it will be at Disneyland’s Dress Shop in Downtown Disney and at Elias & Co at Disneyland’s California Adventure! For those of you wondering, the stores at the front of the park are open as an extension of Downtown Disney temporarily.

This piece of art is from the Disney parks Designer Collection and Darren Wilson has outdone himself! The details are impeccable and UP fans will surely see that nothing from this epic love story has been left out. One side of the hat shows a young Carl and Ellie with their newly painted mailbox. Each Ear shows another detail like their Adventure Book and the detailed artwork they created for their mailbox.

The other side shows Carl and Ellie in their elder years with their tickets ready for their adventure and a map of where they want to go. I personally love the 3D Grape Soda bottlecap and safety pin on the ear. This is something that always brings a tear to my eye and it’s a lovely touch.

The balloons have not been forgotten! The inside of the hat is lined with the balloons that take Carl on his journey! I told you no detail has been left out!

The Darren Wilson UP Ear Hat is available on shopDisney HERE for $48 now. I am guessing we may also see it show up at the Festival of the Arts too but that is purely a guess. It just made sense to me.
