A few months ago now, I wrote about a new line being released by Disney for the discerning Disney woman, called the Kingdom Couture Collection. I know that I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of this new merchandise but I was told it wasn’t being released until spring 2016. On my last trip to Disney, I noticed a couple of pieces were released and I posted them on Instagram and FB. The wait for more merchandise is over! There are now 3 pieces available online! The Disney Kingdom Couture Collection has arrived!
What you need to remember about this Collection, if you don’t remember from our introductory article, is that this Collection is made for women. This is not meant to be a line of merchandise for tweens/teens, necessarily. We have the Boutique Collections for that. Disney women wanted something for themselves, that was a little higher end, and this was the answer. There are other designers that make higher end merchandise (ie: Dooney & Bourke and Pandora) but this is actually made by Disney!
The Fantasyland Castle Crossbody Bag – Kingdom Couture Collection is the most expensive of the 3 bags, so I will start high and move to the slightly more affordable. Look at the detail used on these bags! The tassels on the bottom were not just placed there. They add dimension. The Kingdom Couture logo is just gorgeous. The key holds the “KC” logo and I know it adds something special to this bag, similar to the locks on MK bags or Louis Vuitton. This faux leather and it is woven. It gives it an elevated look and durability, like Harveys for Disney Couture! The lining is even an upgraded pattern. This bag is $178.
The Snow White Apple Shopper Bag – Kingdom Couture Collection The pattern on this bag is divine. It is an embossed paisley brocade pattern that is so intricate and thoughtful, elevating it for that more discerning Disney woman. The theme is clearly Snow White and the apple is a nice touch. The lining is also carefully thought out and it compliments the blue perfectly. This would work perfectly for a Snow White Disney Bounding look! It is $148.
The Briar Rose Mini Crossbody Bag – Kingdom Couture Collection does not let us down with the details either. With the “Briar” embellishment and the rose hanging from it, it is clear where the inspiration came from. The interior has lots of different pockets and sections with a rose designed lining. Just perfect for a woman on the go! This one is just $128.
