Are you a fashionista that sparkles and shines? I like to think I am! This Mickey & Friends Platinum Dooney & Bourke Collection for Disney100 honors the 1920s and could be my favorite collection yet!
Originally when we shared the news of this collection we thought it was a cream background but it’s shocking how different things look in person! Once we were able to see these bags and not just the pictures, it was evident that the background is more of a chrome/platinum color! This makes total sense since this is called the platinum collection!
There are so many different things I noticed that I had missed the first time around. Looking at the design, you get a true art deco feel. Considering that in the 1920s, art deco was the style, it is all coming together!
We noticed that Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip ‘N Dale, Goofy, and Pluto were in the print but I see Tinker Bell now, too! The gang’s all here! The pattern is simply filled with pixie dust! This pattern is a larger pattern, however, so placement will be challenging if you want all the characters on the front. I don’t know if it’s possible on the smaller bags.
The three silhouettes we originally shared are the same 3 that have arrived today. There is a tote ($298), Preskett satchel ($298), and crossbody ($228). All have the stunning Disney100 hangtag. I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of the options!
The lining is a grayish silver which perfectly matches the accents of the bag!
This is a good comparison to give you an idea of the size of the crossbody!
