The Ink & Paint Collection has blown me away. From the housewares to the Ears to the Spirit Jersey, I literally cannot get enough. I was already super excited about the new Dooney and Bourke Collection being released February 21 (was said to be the 18th originally). My excitement has grown now that I can celebrate Disney animation at its finest with this stunning new dress from The Dress Shop!
This dress appears to be the same silhouette of the black and white Mickey dress celebrating Mickey’s 90th released at the end of 2018. That silhouette is super flattering on my body type and I am super excited to see it again.
The dress starts off black and white at the top but, as you work your way down, the animation begins to fill with vibrant color. This dress is part of the Ink & Paint collection, after all, so we expect to see the bright colors we have seen in the rest of the merchandise.
The trim on this dress is a lovely Robin’s egg blue color which adds a beautiful contrast just in time for Spring. I think it’s enough of a difference from the Mickey’s 90th dress for me to be able to grab this one, too, right?
If I had to guess, this dress will be $128, as that seems to be the average price of a dress from The Dress Shop. Disney Springs is where we are expecting to see this dress show up but I would guess you will also find out wherever The Dress Shop dresses are sold. Think Uptown Jewelers and Legends of Hollywood.
The Ink & Paint dress is not yet available online but I’m sure it will appear on shopDisney soon. We haven’t spotted it ourselves yet at the parks either but I am guessing it will be released Friday with the Dooney and Bourke collection.
