It took a few weeks but the new Reversible Mulan Ears from Disney Parks are finally at Walt Disney World! These Ears are so beautiful, they were definitely worth the wait!
I was blessed to see an early screening of the film this week and I think these Ears are not only a fierce depiction of the animated classic but also the new live-action film.
These Mulan Ears have a lot going on but each feature has a distinct purpose or reason. The red Ears with the gold symbols are true to the Chinese culture. I have Chinese slippers that I had as a child and they look exactly like that!
The blue bow with the dragon in the middle is a definite nod to Mushu. It would also depict the dragons found in the live-action film. The fan is used in the films, as well.
I feel like the green in the back of the fan is a nod to Ping in the animated classic but that’s just me. The back of the Ears themselves is a completely different print than on the front. That makes these reversible! We didn’t notice that when we saw pics from Disneyland!
The side says Bravest of All in gold lettering. Mulan is truly the bravest of all. Trust me, go see the new film. She’s even braver than in the animated classic!
These Reversible Mulan Ears were spotted at Hollywood Studios (right before the news of the temporary closing) but I am sure they will be at Disney Springs as well (which is staying open).
What do you think of the new Mulan Ears? Are you excited that they are reversible?
