Peter Pan is classic tale that Disney tells very well. It is also one that isn’t translated to fashion nearly enough. Torrid has taken care of this problem with a new collection that will take you up, up and away…. and straight to Torrid.
I absolutely love this dress. This is one of the more hidden patterns portraying Peter Pan. I could see that people may assume this is a dress based on London and, technically it is, but it’s also Peter Pan. If you take a really close look at the clock, you can see Peter Pan in front of Big Ben, just like in the film. It’s pretty awesome. I adore it.
This Neverland Asymmetrical Lace Up Dress is a fun twist on an LBD. If you are like me, you like anything that accentuates the waist and the lace up cinching at the waist on this dress would be incredibly flattering on most women’s bodies!
This is the Wendy Skater dress and, as you can see in the close up shot, Wendy is featured with Peter and other iconic images all over this dress. I think the main reason that is named after Wendy is the color. This blue tone is her signature color, after all.
There are tops that would be rather expected for a Neverland Collection but there are facets to each garment that make them more unique. Asymmetrical hemlines and the lace up front make each of these tops special in their own right.
This top is my favorite , though. The characters of the film can be seen flying along the neckline and the night sky can be seen on the bottom and the back of this layered top. I really love the peekaboo back. It’s so unexpected! I could rock this shirt for a comfortable, dressed down day or a day at the Parks!
