There’s Nothing Scary About These Villains Squishmallows

I have way more Squishmallows than I would like to admit. Luckily for my ego, I recently found out that I wasn’t the only adult with a Squishmallow addiction. A friend of mine disclosed that there wasn’t room for her boyfriend in her bed anymore because the Squishmallows had taken over. I have everyone from Belle to Lady in my collection. One thing that I am missing is a Disney baddie. That will soon change with the Villains Squishmallows. I’m practically purring with excitement about bringing them home.

The set, found here, includes four classic characters: Hades, Maleficent, Ursula, and Yzma. I was so excited when I saw them because they are some of my favorite characters. While Disney princesses are amazing, I have always been drawn to the villains because I find that their personalities tend to be more three-dimensional. For example, I loved hearing about how Maleficent became who she is today. Also, when the rumors were going around about Ursula getting her own movie, I couldn’t contain my excitement. I’m still hoping that happens.

Hades tries to act cool, but even when he is not a Squishmallow, his personality makes me laugh, rather than scaring me. Finally, I love everything about Yzma and The Emperor’s New Groove in general. I don’t think that Yzma or the movie get the attention that they deserve, so I was excited to see her as part of this crew.
