Rainbow Rules is at it again with their 2023 Halloween Prints. Just one look and you’ll be ready to dance the night away with Oogie Boogie and all you’re BFFs.
Playful Pumpkins
The first new print in the collection is Playful Pumpkins. When I first saw all of the different colored Mickey Pumpkins on this print, my first thought was that they looked a lot like the candy buckets that you see children trick-or-treating with. I hope that there is a Kit Kat bar in one of them for me! Little bats fly in between the pumpkins. A few black stars also twinkle in the background.
While this pattern would look good on almost anything, I really liked the way that it looked on this T-Shirt
These Winter Leggings would also be another great option because, especially in upstate New York, you have to plan for all sorts of weather on Halloween. Even snow!
Pretty Purple Potions
If you were in the mood for something a little more feminine and dainty for Halloween, then the Pretty Purple Potions pattern is the way to go. This pattern is just bubbling with hidden Mickeys. From the Mickey Caldrons to the Mickey smoke bubbling from the Mickey beaker, you’ll have to look several times before you catch them all. The pattern is the perfect combination of a very pretty lavender color, mixed with spooky vibes.
For me, the choice was clear regarding what to get this pattern on. My top two choices are this Long Sleeved Skater Dress and this Sweetheart Midi Dress.
I liked the Long Sleeved Skater Dress because the sleeves give you an extra layer of warmth on a bitter October night, while still looking festive. We all know that there is nothing worse than haven’t to put a jacket over your festive attire. And with this dress, you just might not have to do that.
I also really liked the Sweetheart Midi Dress in this pattern because it looked a little retro and reminded me of the Sanderson Sisters, without being completely Hocus Pocus themed.
Skeleton Dress Up Fun
I am honestly surprised about how much I love this pattern! When I first saw the Skeleton Dress Up Fun pattern, I wasn’t sure about it, but it has really grown on me and I think that it is now my favorite of them all. The Fab Five have all joined in on a group Halloween costume and are ready to have some fun. And, it looks like they might have a few treats as well. The background is just bursting with all kinds of Halloween treats. There are jelly beans and eerie cupcakes, and even some Frankenstein lollypops. The group is even joined by some not-so-scary pals, like a ghost, a jack-o-lantern, and a squad of bats.
When I saw this pattern, I knew it would be perfect for both adults and children. Just look at this adorable Kids Polo Shirt.
It also looks fantastic on this Zip Up Hoodie. I’m ready to get my snuggle on with this hoodie and a roaring fire this fall.
Spooky Fab Five
The final pattern in this collection is the Spooky Fab Five pattern. The Fab Five are at it again, but this time, they are dressed like classic Halloween monsters. Mickey is Dracula and Goofy is Frankenstein. Of course, Minnie is wearing her go-to witch’s costume and Donald is a devil. Even Pluto gets in on the action and wears a pumpkin hat. Hopefully, it’s a costume and not an actual pumpkin!
This is another pattern that would really look good on anything! I liked it best on this Canvas Zip Pouch, because you can really see all of the characters. Also, this pouch has a clip, which makes carrying it a breeze and will prevent you from loosing it while trick-or-treating.
I also thought that this Maxi Sarong Skirt really highlighted the characters in this pattern as well. If you are going on a Halloween themed cruise, then this skirt will be your new BFF.
