Tiered Annual Pass Program Coming to Walt Disney World

Annual Pass Price Increase

Walt Disney World’s Annual Passholder Program has always been a great way for frequent visitors to enjoy Disney parks.

On October 4, 2015 a new Tiered Annual Pass program, with a new color coded pricing structure was introduced. The new passes will be the Platinum Premium, Platinum, Gold, and Silver. The Platinum Premium, Platinum and Gold passes now include Photo Pass downloads, say cheese darling! Some passes are only available to Florida Residents, including the Weekday Select Pass, the Epcot After 4 Pass and the Silver Pass. The Gold Pass will be available to both Florida Residents, and DVC Members.

New passes and their options:

  • The Disney Platinum Plus Pass: New Non Resident: $829 + tax / Florida Residents and DVC Members $729 + tax. Renewal: Non Resident $705 + tax / Florida Residents and DVC Members $619 + tax. Includes admission and park hopping to all four theme parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Both water parks: Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. As well as the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and the Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course. Provides free PhotoPass downloads and Parking. Has no blackout dates. 
  • The Disney Platinum Pass: New Non Resident: $749 + tax / Florida Residents and DVC Members: $649 + tax.
    Renewal: Non Resident $635 + tax / Florida Residents and DVC Members $549 + tax. Includes admission and park hopping to all four theme parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Provides free PhotoPass downloads and Parking. Has no blackout dates.
  • The Disney Gold Pass: (Florida Resident and DVC Member only pass) New: Florida Residents and DVC Members $549 + tax. Renewal: Florida Residents and DVC Members $466 + tax. Includes admission and park hopping to all four theme parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Provides free PhotoPass downloads and Parking. Blackout Dates: December 17–31, 2015; January 1, 2016; March 19–April 1, 2016; December 16–31, 2016; January 1–2, 2017.
  • The Disney Silver Pass: (Florida Resident only) Florida Residents $389 + tax. Renewal: Florida Residents Renewal $330 + tax. Includes admission and park hopping to all four theme parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Provides free Parking. Blackout Dates: December 17–31, 2015; January 1, 2016; March 19–April 1, 2016; December 16–31, 2016; January 1–2, 2017.
  • The Disney Weekday Select Pass: (Florida Resident only) Florida Residents New: $259 + tax. (Currently no renewal information is available) Includes admission and park hopping to all four theme parks: The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Provides free Parking. Blackout on all Weekends and December 17–31, 2015; January 1, 2016; March 19–April 1, 2016; December 16–31, 2016; January 1–2, 2017.
  • The Disney Epcot After 4 pm Pass: (Florida Resident only) New: Florida Resident $249 + tax. Renewal: Florida Resident $211 + tax. Includes admission to Epcot after 4 PM, Free parking.
