I have another Dooney and Bourke print to share with you and this is one is a little more difficult to obtain than the others. Many of you are well aware of the commemorative runDisney Dooney and Bourke bags that are made for select runDisney events. Today’s Dooney and Bourke bags have been created for the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend May 7-10th, 2015 at Disneyland Resort. I will admit, I like last year’s much better. These seem to dark, in my opinion, but people are loving the print. Let’s take a closer look at the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Dooney and Bourke bags and learn how you can get them.
The print consists of Tinker Bell in assorted poses, and rightfully so. It is her half marathon weekend, after all. Tinker Bell is flying and posing amongst different leaves and bugs and such from Pixie Hollow. The background is black, which is easy to keep clean, but is kind of ominous in comparison to last year’s vibrant looking bag. I guess making the same bag year after year would be kind of pointless though! The 4 styles above are available and prices are as follows: satchel ($246.24), letter carrier ($203.04), backpack ($321.84) and slim wristlet ($95.04). These prices include tax.
Where can you get these bags? Well, that’s the catch. You can pre order them if you are registered for the event through this link here. If you are not registered to participate in the event, they usually do have a few left over for participants and spectators but they are in limited quantities and they go quickly. These bags usually end up on ebay down the road, as well, if you are interested in that option. Last year’s design did end up on the Disney Store website later on in the year but without the tag stating it was from the Tinker Bell Half Marathon. The bag was just a lovely Tinker Bell print Dooney and Bourke and many people didn’t even know where it originated. I feel that that could possibly happen with this bag as well but who can be sure.
What are your thoughts on this new Tinker Bell Half Marathon Dooney and Bourke print? Do you like it? Will you be participating in the event? let us know in the comment box below!
