This week we have seen so much new Halloween merchandise, which makes my black, Halloween-loving heart very happy. The latest release that we have seen is the Her Universe Halloween Collection. It is a very good thing that FreeForm went from 13 to 31 Nights of Halloween because I easily have a new look for each night of Halloween and then some.
Hoodies, Jackets, and Sweatshirts
The collection begins with several hoodies and sweatshirts. The first one is this Mickey Skeleton Hoodie, found here. There are so many reasons why we all need this hoodie. From Mickey on the front, ready to do the Skeleton Dance, to the thumb holes at the sleeves which remind me of my emo days and are also great when you are cold and don’t have gloves. The sleeves even have bones on them, so this hoodie could double as a costume, making it a Halloween must-have.
The second option is this Trick-Or-Treat Cardigan. I call this look dressed up spooky. Mickey and Minnie are Trick-Or-Treating in a haunted forest on the front of the cardigan.
On the back, we see that their friends, Donald Duck and Pluto, have joined in on the haunting. Donald is looking a little scared. Almost like he might run away at any time. Pluto, on the other hand, is looking completely calm and carefree. He looks like his mind is on one thing: Getting candy.
No Disney collection of recent years is complete without Stitch and this collection is no exception. This Halloween Stitch Oversized Hoodie is another hoodie option that could double as a Halloween Costume. The oversized hoodie is the epitome of comfy. Stitch is haunting on the front of the hoodie.
On the back, we see Stitch wearing a pumpkin. He is trying his best to look mean but just looks really cute. The hood even has two large Stitch ears sticking out of either side of the hood.
The final hoodie, shown here, actually is a triple threat! It is a hoodie, a dress, and a costume. The arms on the hoodie have bat wings and the hood even has a Mickey Mouse face and ears. There is a small Mickey Ghost on the top of the dress. Additionally, all of the accents on the hoodie glow in the dark, making it the best Halloween treat you could ask for.
Finally, if there was ever a sport that I could letter in, it would be Trick-Or-Treating. With this Mickey Halloween Varsity Jacket, now you can do just that. The jacket has a big “M” on the front with candy and some of Mickey’s teammates appearing on both of the sleeves. Mickey’s name is also in full display on the front of the jacket.
Mickey is showing off his Trick-Or-Treating skills on the back of the jacket. He has his uniform on and is ready to make sure that he gets as much Halloween Candy as possible.
Tops
The collection also includes two tops. The first one is this Button-Up Shirt. Here we see the Fab Five going out on a Halloween adventure. They are all looking a little scared as ghouls, ghosts, skulls, spiders, and evil jack-o-lanterns flutter around them. It looks like some sort of portal has been opened in the background and the gang is doing everything that they can to escape.
The next item is this Retro Knit Top. While it is clear that it is a Halloween top, it is very simple. It is a great way to ease into your Halloween style. The top has fall colors, almost like a piece of Candy Corn, with a Mickey Bat at the front.
Bottoms
In addition to all of the other wonderful items, there are also two pairs of pants. The first pair is this fun pair of Ghost Mickey and Minnie Mom Jeans, found here. These playful ghosts are anything but scary as they fly around the legs of these pants. Their facial expressions really crack me up! There is even a face chain at the top of the pants. Both the chain and all of the ghosts glow in the dark.
The final item in this collection are these Glow-In-The-Dark Joggers, which you can check out here. One of the legs has an intricate spiderweb pattern with Mickey heads at the center of several of the webs, in addition to a few spiders. This leg reminds me a lot of a Cakeworthy dress that I have from a few years ago.
On the other leg, we see Mickey and the gang setting out for a night of Trick-Or-Treating.
