A few months ago we shared info on the new men’s collection coming to Disney Parks, Twenty Eight and Main, a collection tailored to the distinguished Disney gentleman.
Disney Parks announced that the first items of this snappy new collection will be offered for a limited engagement on the Disney Parks online store from August 28 until September 3, 2015. This very limited sale will feature three unique shirts, along with three coordinating signs. The 3 new shirt designs will be a Slub Knit inspired by Walt Disney’s iconic Carousel of Progress, A burnout representing The Florida Project, and lastly a variegated stripe t-shirt with the Twenty Eight & Main logo.
The Carousel of Progress shirt is the shirt that catches my eye first. I love the subtle yet still bright details that reminisce the World Fair. It’s a soft feeling blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, and even features an embroidered lion on the left sleeve. Small details like that, really make a simple t-shirt quite classic.
The Florida Project shirt has a special place in my heart, it features the classic Floridian symbol of the orange, as well as “The Mouse,” the airplane that flew Walt Disney on secret scouting missions over Central Florida. There’s even the signature of the man himself, Walt Disney on the bottom. That bit of nostalgia is great for any Disney historian you may know! This shirt also has a touch of embroidery on the sleeve with the Twenty Eight & Main logo stitched on. No frets, this shirt is also made from the same soft 60/40% blend as the Carousel of Progress tee.
Lastly we have the final shirt, that is a simple but refined tee with the Twenty Eight & Main logo. This one has 2 embroidered elements, both the lion, and Walt Disney’s signature. This is a comfortable but slightly thicker blend of 75% cotton, and 25% polyester.
Not to be forgotten are the three wooden signs that will be featuring similar designs, that will also be offered during the sale of the shirts. These unique keepsakes will measure 18-inches by 24-inches, a perfect size for displaying in the home.
Remember these items will only be for sale on the Disney Parks online store August 28, till September 3, 2015. To order simply visit 28&Main on the Disney Store website. Apparel items will ship in 4-6 weeks. Wooden signs will ship in about 12-14 days after purchase.Disclaimer - As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
