Whimsical Fashion By Pixie Duds

By Michelle | Updated on November 7, 2015

I recently was asked to find Cinderella fashion, with skirts in mind. I thought that was going to be fairly easy but it turns out, it is not. At least for grown women, it is not easy to find. I was pleased when I came across these whimsical fashions by Pixie Dust on Etsy.

I like this simple Cinderella skirt. It would work for many different occasions. I think it would be cute for a day of shopping or afternoon tea with the girls. The website has great details as to how this is made and with what in mind. This is what it has to say:

“Pretty Princess Ladies skirt made from upcycled vintage fabric. It features Cinderella as the princess on this skirt. I make the skirts to fit a variety of bodies. Ladies need something whimsical to wear once in a while. You would look great wearing this skirt at school, at a con, on a date, or just around town. It would be super cute with some leggings or tights and a cute fitted tee shirt.

The fabric is handpicked and the skirts are made by me. Skirt fits a 34″ to 38″ waist but would fit a little larger. The length is 19″ from top edge of elastic to bottom of hem. If you wear your skirts a little lower on the hips, use that measurement to fit your skirt.”

I think it fits the bill nicely for the request I was given. There were a few others I also thought were cute from this site like the Mickey Mouse skirt and the Nemo Skirt. They are different from what I usually find while shopping out and about.

What do you think about these skirts? Would you wear them? Let us know what you think in the comment box below!
