I have been sharing a lot of new merchandise from the first runDisney event of the year, the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. The one thing that has been glaringly absent from all the merchandise release articles is the Dooney and Bourke pattern for the event. We finally found it! The 2017 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Dooney and Bourke bags have appeared!
True to form, there are 3 styles of the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Dooney and Bourke print: Large satchel, pouchette and letter carrier. This pattern is really the bare minimum, don’t you think? I do enjoy it, though. They have stuck with the white background, which seems to be a popular choice. The artwork is of a sketch design with minimal color but just enough to make it stand out. I like that you can find the characters wearing their medals in the print. That’s a nice touch. I am assuming Pluto is wearing the one for his race, Dopey for his and so on. You will also find the print includes different Park Attraction icons and they are from all 4 Parks, as the marathon does get you through all 4 Parks!
These Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend Dooney and Bourke bags are available at the runDisney Expo at the ESPN Wide World Of Sports running now through Saturday late afternoon. There are always limited supplies so take note. Otherwise, the only way to get them is to use a personal shopper. Just an FYI.
