It used to be that every time I visited Disney, I would buy myself a new pair of Ears. Mickey Ears, Minnie Ears – it didn’t matter because I wanted them all! Lately, though, I’ve been on a bit of an Ears hiatus. None of the recent Ears have really struck my fancy. But it looks like Disney is making up for lost time with me! There is a slew of new Ears coming for 2019 and I can honestly say, I want them all!
This year, we’ll see sparkly ears, flowery ears, attraction based ears and more! I can’t wait to show off my Disney side and flush out my Ears collection in 2019.
Here is a run down of all the new Ears that we know are coming to Disney Parks in 2019.
Most Magical Place on Earth
Let’s kick things off with a look at a classic style of Mickey Ears. While the rest of the Ears in this list are headband styles, these ears are a new take on the classic Mickey Mouse style hat that we all know and love. That actual hat is a rich navy blue and features sparkly silver embroidery of the words “Most Magical Place On Earth.” Inside the “O” of “On” is a swirled Disney D image to complete the design. Topping this hat is a pair of gold Mickey Ears with firework silhouettes to add to the magic.
I like that these Mickey Ears are more adult looking than some of the specialty mouse ears we’ve seen in the past. And they are very gender-neutral, so the whole family can get behind these ones! I’m thinking 2019 Christmas card photo!
“it’s a small world”
We’ve seen (and loved) the attraction based Spirit Jerseys that launched last year. This year, it’s looking like we will be able to round out our collections with attraction based Ears as well! These “it’s a small world” ears are the perfect addition to your “it’s a small world” Spirit Jersey! The front of these ears read “Hello” while the back of the ears read “Goodbye.” They are the perfect pair for exploring Fantasyland all day long!
Cinderella Castle
The sight of Cinderella Castle is probably my favorite view on the planet! These sparkly ears are fit for Princess and capture the sparkle and magic of Cinderella Castle perfectly. This Minnie Mouse style headband features a beautiful silver and gold motif and includes a sparkly Cinderella Castle right in the middle of the already sparkly bow!
Dots, Mint, and Flowers – Oh my!
The next three Minnie Ear Headbands are sure to fly off the shelves as soon as they official arrive. Starting in the back, we can see that a new polka dotted pair of ears is headed our way. Perfect for rocking the dots, these navy blue ears feature silver and pink polka dots and a full pink sequined bow.
Next in line is an absolutely fabulous pair of Mint Green ears. I think I’m being fairly neutral when I say I LOVE THESE EARS SO MUCH! We’ve all been wanting and waiting for Mint ears for a while, so I’m absolutely thrilled to see that Disney knocked it out of the park with this design.
Last but not least, there is a new Flower Minnie Mouse headband coming this year. I think this headband is absolutely perfect for Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival. Other guests may even mistake you for one of the pieces of floral art when you wear these!
Minnie Mouse Donut Ears
For this last set of Ears, you’re going to have to look a little closely to get a sneak peek. Just to the left of the D-List Raincoat are a pair of pink Ears sticking out, unassumingly. These are the new Minnie Mouse Donut Ears that are sure to be a true fan-favorite this year! If you love Disney snacks, these Donut ears are the perfect accessory!
