Whenever we need a little Hawaii fix we can visit BouTiki at Disney´s Polynesian Village Resort. They carry Disney Aulani goods and other wonderful Disney Parks items with tropical vibes like Trader Sam’s Grotto and more. During a recent visit, we were surprised with a new assortment of Olu Mel merchandise and it’s music to our ears. Let’s take a closer look.
Old Mel Spirit Jersey
First, we saw this amazing new Spirit Jersey in a lovely ombré going from light blue to bright teal. On the front, we have the Disney Aulani logo with Olu Mel wearing a leaves crown and surrounded by plumerias. On the back, we can see the Old Mel – A Disney Friend of Duffy logo on the upper part and then the star of the show, our cute turtle friend lying on a blanket while playing his ukulele. We can see in the background, the Disney Aulani resort and he is surrounded by more plumeria flowers, a beach ball, palm fronds and some of the vegetation that you can see while at the resort. It has a price of $90 USD.
Olu Mel T-shirt
The next piece of apparel is a lovely t-shirt. Again in a very light blue tone, with the Disney Aulani simplified logo on the chest, we can see Olu Mel wearing a cute straw hat and drinking straight from a coconut, he definitely is giving us vacation vibes. The back of this item is plain. It has a price of $40 USD.
Old Mel Button-Down Adult Shirt
The item I was most excited about was this adult button-down shirt in a bright teal with a pattern that features Olu Mel in different poses surrounded by green leaves from the plants at the resort, plumeria flowers, and the Disney Aulani resort. This item has a price of $75 USD. I truly wish there was a matching dress for the ladies.
Olu Mel Ornament
There is an ornament that features Olu Mel snorkeling under the water. He is wearing his snorkel and saying hello to an orange fish that looks like the Humuhumunukunukuapua’a, the state fish of Hawaii that is displayed in the art you find on the bathroom walls while staying at Disney Aulani. There is a ribbon for hanging it. This item is $25 USD.
Olu Mel Ukulele
Every friend of Duffy has a particular personality trait, Olu Mel is a musician and plays the ukulele. Well, now you can be like him and take home this wooden ukulele where we can see Olu Mel playing his ukulele while standing on the beach, surrounded by palm trees, local vegetation, and the Disney Aulani Resort building in the back. The price for this item is $50.
