Ashley Eckstein was at Hollywood Studios on Saturday August 17th, for the release of her new Darth Vader dress! She also hosted a signing, and greeted fans for photos ops and fun! We were so excited that one of us got to attend too!
Previewed first on the runway of the Her Universe Fashion Show, this was the first time fans were able to see this beautiful frock up close. It was also the first chance to preview her new Princess Leia ears as well! Ashley met with all guests who received a wristband for the signing too!
The new Darth Vader Dress features artwork by the very talented Ashley Taylor! Watch out rebels, The Force is strong with the Dark Side for this dress!
The dress has amazing details, from a kaleidoscope Darth Vader print to antiqued metal buttons with the logo of The Empire.
The way the buttons clasp around the dress also has a very “Empire Officer” uniform feel to it too! I’m always fawning over the Disney Dress Shop dresses, but this one is an absolute must-have for me!
Our fabulous local correspondent Lindsay was lucky enough to meet Ashley herself and check out the dress in person! The dress looked simply stunning and we can’t wait for it to arrive at the Disney Parks and on shopDisney soon!
