As a parent, teacher, and avid book lover, I am beyond excited about ShopDisney’s new partnership with firstbook.org! Their Buy a Book, Give a Book program provides books and resources for children in need!
Just as the title implies, this program is super simple: buy a book from ShopDisney, and they will donate a book to firstbook.org! While ShopDisney has plenty of children’s books, they also carry cookbooks, National Geographic titles, and fiction books. There is even a book on Disneybounding that is perfect for every fashionista! You can browse all of their selections HERE.
The Buy a Book, Give a Book program runs through December 31, 2021. Every summer, I buy a few new books to add to my classroom library. Knowing that my purchases will put books in the hands of more children makes my shopping even sweeter! Reading skills are important for education of course, but books also introduce new concepts and inspire curiosity in children. These are qualities that are important not just in school but also in life!
