D-Living Enchants Guests

I recently wandered with high hopes into the new D-Living store at Disney Springs. It’s marketed as a home store for the Disney lover, so I was hoping to find fun furniture, light fixtures, and decorations. I was a little disappointed to find that this store was basically just a collection of the home merchandise found in World of Disney and The Co-Op. The Disney merchandising team must have also felt that it needed a little something more because the Disney Parks Blog has announced that D-Living has been given a makeover and now focuses on this season’s most anticipated movie, Beauty and the Beast!

Disney Parks Blog reported that Beauty and the Beast touches can be found all over the store. Products that we have been swooning over for a while, such as the Cogsworth clock and the Lumiere light-up figurine, are interspersed with artwork, well-loved books, and even a bed fit for a princess (or a beast.)

Take a look at the wall in this picture–it’s straight out of Belle’s library! And the lanterns hanging from the old ladder are positively enchanting! The rose in the glass dome is the most recognizable symbol of Beauty and the Beast, but if you look closely, you can see that this rose is made from a book. That represents Belle perfectly!

My favorites of the pictures shared by Disney Parks Blogs show a shadow box with a replica of Belle’s dress and a charming chandelier with silverware drops! I absolutely cannot wait to see that in person! And that shadow box would look stunning in a powder room or even a nursery.

It seems that D-Living also carries a few Beauty and the Beast themed shirts as well. My favorite one features a silhouette of Chip with the word tea, which makes this one a tea shirt.

A very special thanks to the Disney Parks Blog for sharing this great information and their gorgeous pictures! I can’t wait to get a peek inside the new version of D-Living! What item are you most excited about?
