I have been wanting to share this with you all for almost a year! I just couldn’t reveal the finished product till after the wedding for fear that my husband (ah.. I’m a wife!) would see it before the big day. The day has passed and now I can share the most unique piece of art I had the pleasure of wearing on my head during my wedding! These Disney inspired headpieces are the fashionable choice for your Disney wedding.
I have known for quite some time that I didn’t want to wear a veil at my wedding. I know it’s classic but I wanted something a little more unique and avant garde. I had a whimsical/ mad hatter wedding and I was picturing the Maddie Disney Attractionista doll and her fabulous teacup hat. So, I went on a mission to find the perfect headpiece with that inspiration.
I found the artist at BoringSidney on Etsy. She constructs the most incredible works of art and specializes in Derby hats. I’m sure most of you are aware of the incredible hats that are worn to Derby. They are are literally works of art! I contacted her and told her my vision. What came at the end of our communications was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of!
My teacup headpiece is exactly what I was hoping for. I told her the relative size I was hoping for, we discussed colors and fabrics and she created different sketches for me to choose my headpiece from. Pictures were sent through out the process and I was literally seeing my dream unfold before my eyes! The finished product had me in tears when I opened the box.
