New year, new Loungefly – new Disney Parks 2021 Loungefly, that is!
Loungefly has continued in the tradition of a yearly blue collection celebrating Disney Park icons. The latest backpack and wallet are so fun because they celebrate Disneyland and Walt Disney World characters, treats, and ride vehicles – even those from the past! The buggy ride vehicle from Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride and the old Skyway Buckets share center stage alongside stormtroopers and Cinderella Castle. You can also spot Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Dapper Dans, a Space Mountain vehicle, Haunted Mansion ghosts…and even the goat from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! The vehicles and characters are surrounded by Disney treats (I love the inclusion of the mint julep from Disneyland!), balloons, and confetti.
The mini backpack is in the classic Loungefly style with a front zip pocket. The pocket is perfect for holding your phone! The gold hardware really pops against the bright blue background.
The zip wallet coordinates perfectly with the backpack and is roomy enough for all of your essentials!
Due to the nature of the pattern, each backpack and wallet are unique. Placement is everything to Disney Fashionistas. I think it will be really fun to try to hunt down the bag that features your favorite icons prominently! I’m hoping to find a backpack with the stormtrooper and a teacup front and center! You also can get different pattern placements on both the backpack and the wallet so that way you can cover all of your favorites.

Will these bags be at the park year round? I’m going in September and I’d love to buy this at the park but I don’t know if it’ll be gone and replaced by the new Halloween themed ones 🙁
It’s hard to say. The bags are usually in the parks until they sell out. Depending on the collection and the popularity, that can be pretty quick sometimes.
