For many of us, our fur babies are members of the family, and we like to spoil them with fun treats! Now, there is a special store in Disney Springs dedicated to merchandise just for our pets! Disney Tails is in Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs, and it’s perfect for pet lovers!
The Mickey and Minnie themed merchandise is the biggest collection in the shop. It includes pet beds, dinnerware, harnesses, leashes, collars, and toys. While most of the Disney Tails merchandise caters to dogs, there are a few items that will work for cats as well. Mickey and Minnie pet beds, placemats, and food bowls are certainly cat (and most other types of pet) friendly.
I predict that the Haunted Mansion merchandise will be the biggest sellers in the shop! The costume harnesses are absolutely adorable and perfect for taking your pet along when you are trick or treating with the family. For those with simpler tastes, there are collars and bowls. The harnesses and collars come in small, medium, and large sizes. The smallest collar would also work for most adult cats as well.
As a lifelong Star Wars fan, I was pretty excited to see the Star Wars collection. My cats even have Star Wars nicknames! I’m pretty sure that they wouldn’t appreciate the harnesses, but I could probably get away with the collars and bowls.
Pet Halloween costumes are so fun, and these are on point! The Incredibles harness even has a little mask! These are the only items that aren’t a part of a collection. I’m hoping this means that more collections are on their way. I’d love to see a full Marvel line!
Of course, pets need more than just essentials; they also need to have fun! There is an entire wall of chew toys, soft toys, and balls. On a humorous note, I saw many children asking for these as well.
The holidays mean dressing up, and our pets want to look their best too! This hoodie is sure to get your pup some extra attention on walks through the neighborhood. The tags have a Minnie Mouse reindeer charm that is darling! A helpful Cast Member informed me that these pieces coordinate with the new holiday merchandise that will be released soon. Sneak peeks are always fun!
Prices for the Disney Tails merchandise range from around $15 for a chew toy to $40 for the harnesses. Bowls, mats, and collars are all around $20.00. Almost all of the Minnie and Mickey collection is on shopDisney, but I didn’t see the Star Wars, Haunted Mansion, or Holiday collections. A shopping service can help you grab these though!
