When I was 16-20 I was all about the “Extra Limbo Low-Rise” jeans. It was go low or go home for me. A few years ago, I discovered Mom jeans. At first, I told myself that I would never wear high-waisted pants. Then I bought a pair by mistake and have never looked back! They make all 5’2 of me look just a little bit taller! And I need all the help I can get in that area! Now, Hot Topic has Disney Mom Jeans and I need every pair that they have available.
The first pair is a classic. Retro Minnie and Mickey stand on opposite legs of the pants. Mickey’s pant leg is black, while Minnie’s is blue. I just love that on Mickey’s leg there is a Minnie Head and on the leg that Minnie is standing on, there is a Mickey Head. There are also some really fun details on these pants. Look closely at Minnie and you will see the year 1928 right next to where she is standing. If you didn’t know, that was the year that Walt created Mickey Mouse. You can find these HERE.
There is also a pair of Rapunzel jeans. Rapunzel swings on her hair while lanterns float around her. On the other leg, Pascal tries to blend in under the sun. he’s not doing a very good job because he is easy to spot! The light color and sunny theme of these jeans would make them a perfect item to have as you transition from your summer wardrobe to your fall clothing.
Finally, the pair of jeans that are at the top of my wish list are the Sleeping Beauty Fairies jeans. Flora, Fauna and Merryweather flutter all over the front of these jeans. Each of the fairies’ personalities shines through in their pictures. Flora has her own leg on the pants and appears to be guiding the other two fairies. Small but feisty Merryweather looks ready for action with her fists clenched and hand tightly wrapped around her wand. Finally, quiet Fauna seems to be deep in thought. Probably planning the trio’s next move.
