Disney Villains have never been known for subtlety, and this new collection is giving them the dramatic fashion moment they deserve! Disney Style recently teased a new Disney Villains collection designed by Angie Schlegel, and the pieces combine wickedly fabulous characters with seriously impressive craftsmanship.
As Disney Style put it, it’s time to “Enter your Villain era.” Designer Angie Schlegel has given some of Disney’s most iconic baddies a haute couture-inspired makeover, incorporating embroidery, rhinestones, beads, sequins, and bold pops of color throughout the collection.

The result feels less like traditional character merchandise and more like wearable art.

One of the pieces immediately demanding attention is a denim jacket covered in intricate embellishments. Golden stars sparkle across the dark denim, while beaded fringe adds movement and drama across the back. A jeweled crown and a bright green poison apple motif bring in unmistakable Evil Queen inspiration. Even the words “Beautiful One” are embroidered along the jacket, giving a nod to the vanity at the heart of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
And, of course, a Villains collection needs a statement bag!

The poison apple purse may be one of the most elaborate accessories we have seen in a while. The dimensional apple design is completely covered in green, red, and black beads and embellishments, creating the familiar skull-like face of the poisoned apple. A chunky gold chain adds even more glamour. This is definitely not a subtle Disney accessory, but that is exactly what makes it so fabulous.

There also appears to be a large tote that celebrates several different Villains at once. The neutral bag is decorated with dimensional appliqués and jeweled designs inspired by characters and iconic symbols. The embellished details almost look like collectible brooches attached to the bag, making it feel completely different from the typical printed Disney tote.

Ursula gets her own moment with an incredible satin jacket. The back features a large embroidered design with her shell necklace, tentacles, waves, and King Triton’s trident. “Trouble Maker” is embroidered across the shoulders in gold script, which feels particularly appropriate for our favorite sea witch. The combination of embroidery, beading, and metallic accents makes this another piece that looks especially luxurious.

Finally, the collection includes a purple handbag featuring Maleficent and the Evil Queen. The artwork is surrounded by stars and other magical details, with the phrase “I Have You Under My Spell” front and center. A heavily embellished heart-shaped charm hanging from the bag adds even more texture and color.
It’s dark, glamorous, colorful, and wonderfully over-the-top. Basically, everything we could want from a Disney Villains fashion collection!
Are you ready to enter your Villain era? Which piece from the new Disney Villains collection has you ready to be wicked?
