If you’re heading to the D23 Expo this year, you now have even more to be excited about. This year, fans have the opportunity to meet Disney musical artists and award-winning composers.
Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Jordan Fisher, Auli’i Cravalho, and Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino are all set to meet fans at the Disney Music Emporium during D23 Expo 2017.
This year, during the D23 Expo, Disney Music Emporium returns with a pop-up store. The Emporium will feature album signings by Disney musical artists and award-winning composers. Fans can also shop for limited quantities products including new releases from Marvel, Moana, Beauty and the Beast, and Disneyland attraction picture discs, plus lithographs, Crosely turntables, and posters.
Also, available for the first time will be Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection Robin Hood two-disc set. This piece of Disney music history features songs and score from the film on Disc 1, and previously unreleased demos and bonus tracks (performed by Louis Prima) on Disc 2. A limited quantity of lithographs will be a gift with purchase.
After you’ve picked up your two-disc set and lithographs, get ready to meet some Disney music royalty. Award- winning composer Michael Giacchino (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Inside Out, Up), composer Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 & 2) , Auli’i Cravalho (voice of Moana), Dove Cameron (Descendants 2, Liv and Maddie), Sofia Carson (Descendants 2), and Lorelay Bove (Visual Development Artist, Walt Disney Animation Studios), plus Hollywood Records artists Jordan Fisher and Temecula Road will on be on hand for album signings.
To help with crowd control and time spent waiting in lines, guests who purchase select music products at the Disney Music Emporium Pavilion will be issued a wristband to secure a space for an album signing.
