It is my firm belief that you can’t be sad while wearing a Holiday Sweater. That statement is even more true when it is a Disney Holiday Sweater. This year, Disney has really outdone themselves when it comes to their holiday attire and I couldn’t be more excited.
Princesses
When I think about princesses during the holiday season, the first princess that usually pops into my mind is Belle. I have to watch Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas at least once a year. In some ways, don’t get upset, I like it almost as much (or more) than the original movie. Clearly, I am not the only person who associates Belle with the holiday season because there is a Belle Holiday Sweater. The sweater, found here, is also very subtly Belle, which makes me adore it even more. Rather than having Belle all over the sweater, it has a simple enchanted rose. Silhouettes of Cogsworth and Lumiere dance around the bottom of the sweater as snow and hearts fall from above.
The second princess sweater is a Cinderella Holiday Sweater, found here. While I wouldn’t automatically think of Cinderella when thinking about the holidays, I think that this sweater works really well. It almost looks like all of Cinderella’s mouse friends are making her a present or even wrapping her up like a present, complete with a bow at the center of her outfit.
Cute Disney Pals
In my mind, there are very few things that are hilariously more cute than Baymax. And I am in luck because we have been seeing him more frequently recently. It looks like he is getting ready for the Holidays on this sweater. Baymax almost looks like a pile of snow as Mochi rests on him in front of San Fransokyo.
Eeyore is another favorite of mine. Here he is on this purple holiday sweater. He is doing his best to stay jolly as he decorates. Unfortunately, he seems to be decorating himself more than the halls.
Adults aren’t the only ones who can get in on the Holiday Sweater fun! Here we see Bingo & Bluey on the front of a powder blue Youth Sweater. It looks like they are trying their best to look like they are perfect angels so that Santa will leave them something.
Mickey and Friends Disney Holiday Sweaters
Mickey and all of his friends are ready to usher in the Holiday Season with the final two items. The first, found here is a retro-looking vest. The color blocking on the vest gives it a very old-time feel. All of the characters also seem to have a very classic look. There are even several hidden Mickey’s on the vest. Can you spot them?
The final item is this Mickey & Minnie Winter Sweater. This sweater quickly popped to the top of my list because the color scheme makes it work for both the Christmas and Hanukkah parties that I attend. Beyond that, I think that because of the skiing theme of the Cardigan, it can be used all winter long.
