Today we are presenting part 2 of our 2016 celebrity Disney Bounding series. If you missed it, check out part 1.
Why 2 parts, you ask? Because 2016 really brought it in terms of fashion! Scroll below some of our favorite 2016 Disney Bounding looks.
While I was unaware of who Emily Robinson was when I saw photographs of her at the Emmy’s crop up, the beauty of her gown did not escape me. Her tea length, glitzy look is a modern take on the traditional Belle ball gown.
First glance at Anna Kendrick at Cannes would make one want to think she, too, was Disney Bounded as Belle. But the train of her gown and the statuesque silhouette have us thinking of Lumiere.
Bianca Balti continued the Beauty and the Beast Disney Bounding by featuring a dress that was akin to Feather Duster. The beautiful azure taffeta train mimics the feather “dress” and the lace accents adds a Parisian effect that is true to chic Feather Duster.
Araya Hargate did it again at Cannes in 2016! This time, she opted for more of a ball gown, with a pink texturized material that instantly had us thinking POODLE. And, too, the dress has feminine layers that Georgette is known for prancing around in.
From Taylor Swift’s bow accent, pastel pink, and ethereal floral and metallic embroidery, her Met Gala look made the cut as prim and proper Marie.
Miss Spider is all things LEGS and stripes. Julianne Hough’s banded gown, with flashes of skin, and sheer skirt add that hint of mystery and darkness.
Crowning princess Katy Perry rocked a red ruffle gown at the amfAR gala. The pinata texture, the ruffles, and the bold red and purple are a true nod to Latin counterpart and new-to-the-scene Elena of Avalor.
The cut of Olivia Wilde’s Oscar gown appears as a kimono. Maybe Mulan would wear this to a wedding?
