The fairytale continues as yet another designer unveils a Beauty & the Beast collection. This tale as old as time, Hidesign is at it!
The Indian designer Hidesign is known for its craftmanship. Hidesign handcrafts beautiful bags from their own tanneries, handknots each stitch, and utilizes brass buckles exclusively sand casted and painstakingly polished by hand at their brass forge.
Hidesign created a 30-piece ‘Enchanted’ collection featuring a cartoonized Belle on wallet and satchel; Belle and Beast on wallets, satchels, and backpacks; Enchanted Rose motifs on crocodile embossed leather satchels; Mrs. Potts and Chip “patch” satchels; and Lumiere et friends leather stamped and canvas crossbodies. We are Enchanted!
This is a limited-edition collection ranging from US $100-190 that may be hard to find because their site only ships within India, but we wanted to share it anyway! In my experience, if you love an item enough, your internet and shop searches won’t come up short. eBay, Poshmark, Amazon… when there’s a will, there’s a way.
For the beautiful craftsmanship and skill that goes into Hidesign’s bags, these prices aren’t bad… if you can find them! You can shop the items on Hidesign’s site HERE, keeping in mind they don’t ship to the USA.

Oh my! I just may have a way to get one of those. But I have to decide which I have to have out of Rose 03, Fifi 02, Lumiere 01 & 02. (And then convince my husband that one of these is necessary and NOT “designer”. (Considering I told him that I would be “done” with my designer obsession when I got my Mickey D&B last month!)
