I am a huge tiki fan. I have been to many a tiki bar and even the Hukilau in South Florida! It’s tiki time thanks to these new designs from Her Universe!
I have no current plans to go back to the Hukilau, but I do have a reservation at Disney’s Polynesian, and any of these designs would fit in perfectly there! Let’s break down the options.
The Mickey and Minnie Mouse convertible romper is a star to this fashionista! You can wear it with or without the skirt! It’s like getting 2 outfits for the price of one. I personally love it without the skirt. The way it ties in the front and has adjustable straps means it will be flattering on so many! Not to mention secure! The smocking in the back gives it flexibility, and there are even pockets. Sheer perfection!
Who doesn’t love a good skort? They work so well in the parks, and you don’t have to worry about getting on and off rides! This Moana print skort has a tiki print that would be so fun for Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Aulani, a cruise, or EPCOT for Moana’s very own attraction! Clearly, it’s a must-have for Moana fans who love to travel!
This pattern isn’t listed as tiki, but it has many tropical flowers and Stitch! I say that we grandfather it into the tiki family! This dress would work for a nice dinner if you don’t want to wear it to the parks. I would wear it to both, but that’s just me. The design of the dress is flowy and fun, and the ruffle shoulder straps are a lovely, feminine detail!
This last piece isn’t labeled as tiki either, but it’s so tropical, I’m sure that it would work at our favorite tiki locations. This print is The Lion King inspired and resembles a dress Her Universe did a year or so ago that I loved. You can kick back worry-free in an all-over print of Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Timon, and Pumbaa with tropical foliage. It comes with a front skirt flap, side seam pockets, adjustable cami straps and back smocking, which makes it extra comfortable.
