I just had to stop writing and buy everything from the new Cakeworthy Princess Collection. You might think that I’m joking, but my wallet is sad to inform you that I’m not. My closet, on the other hand, is quite pleased.
If you have read any of the other articles that I have written, then you’ll know that I love a good Cakeworthy flannel, especially if it has a Disney Princess theme. The latest character to have the honor of staring in a Cakeworthy flannel is Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother. The Fairy Godmother sticks her head from the front pocket of this powder pink and baby blue flannel. Her wand is ready to turn any pumpkin (Or lemon of a car!) into a carriage for the night. She’s even signed her name on the top collar. On the back, you see her classic catchphrase “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!”.
There is also an Ariel Flannel Shirt! Ariel and Flounder are on the back of this mermaid-tail green and purple shirt.
One thing that really appealed to me about this shirt is the placement of Ariel’s name. For the majority of Cakeworthy flannels that I have seen, the name is on the collar. For this one, Ariel’s name is on the pocket and a little shell is on the collar. I really appreciate that they switched things up a bit!
If you are looking for one of Cakeworthy’s wonderful dresses, then you are in luck! There are two new options to choose from. The first is the Cinderella Dress. This fairy godmother blue dress has Cinderella, Prince Charming, and all of their friends dancing around in the foreground. Even Lucifer, the cat, joins in on the fun! Faded flowers and Cinderella’s Castle can be seen in the background. The dress has short puff sleeves and a pintucked skirt, which makes it clear that the person wearing the dress is a real-life princess.
The second dress is the Beauty and the Beast Dress. I’m not typically a yellow person, but this yellow is so sunny and bright that it is very hard to resist! While there is little other color on the dress besides the red dome of the rose, the purple cover of Belle‘s book, and the white mirror, the simple drawings of Chip and the flowers have so much life and pop in a way that is a challenge to describe with words.
The final item in the collection is the Disney Princess Sweater. When I first saw it, I liked the sweater, but it wasn’t until after I clicked on the image that it was clear that I needed to have it. The graphic on the sweater is sure to make even the Evil Queen say “Awwww!”. Cinderella, Pocahontas, Jasmine, Rapunzel, and Tiana all hold hands above the words “life’s a fairytale”. It is a perfect moment to capture what we all need right now. If that alone didn’t sell you, then the fact that it is a fleece sweater surely will. EVERY shirt/sweater that I have purchased from Cakeworthy has been so warm. This means a lot coming from someone like me who is always cold.
