Macy’s Launches a New Beauty and the Beast Inspired Collection

By Monica V | Updated on February 15, 2017

Yep, you read that headline correctly. Yet another retailer is jumping in on the Beauty and the Beast craze. This time, Macy’s is showing their fun and feminine side with a Beauty and the Beast inspired collection.

The new collection is filled with dresses, skirts, and graphic tees. Flowy dresses and off the shoulder looks are the name of the game, and the pretty pastels are perfect for Spring. The line also features a wide variety of Plus Size styles and options as well!

First, let take a look at a few of the graphic tees that caught my eye.

And I’m really not kidding when I say that these are just a FEW of the shirts that are available in the new collection! Apparently when Macy’s launches a fashion collection, they go all out! The shirts start at $28.00.

One of my  favorites is the white shirt with a snarky looking Belle that reads “the book was better.” It’s always fun to see that Disney Princess attitude shine through! My other favorite is the gray and black patterned tee with the metallic stripes on the arms. This shirt just looks super cool and perfect for pairing with jeans.

Okay. now lets move into those feminine touches I was talking about! This flowy lace skirt in pale pink is just perfect for a warm spring day. Pair with any t-shirt shirt or blouse to complete the look! At $44.00, this skirt won’t break the bank either.

Like I said before, the new Beauty and the Beast collection from Macy’s is filled with dresses! There are seriously so many different options, it was hard to narrow it done. Here are a few of my personal favorites.

Is it just me, or does this dress remind you of the feather duster, Babette?

I really wish I could pull off this color, because this soft butter yellow is gorgeous! Either of these dresses would be great for a date night or garden party this summer.

And of course, you cannot have a Beauty and the Beast collection without representing some roses! This off the shoulder look will definitely turn heads wherever you go.

My favorite dress from the collection is this pale blue and yellow ruffled fit and flare dress. First, this blue is totally my signature color. Second, I just love the design and cut of this style! I can totally picture Belle wearing this as she roamed through a bookstore. All dresses in the collection start at $59.00.

To check out the full collection, head over to Macy’s.

And as always, don’t forget to let me know what you think in the comments!

No problem!! I can’t wait to see it in person! My local Macy’s didn’t have it yet.

FYI – I found it in a (somewhat) local Macy’s and it is in the Junior’s section. So all of us who wear a Ladies size beware! The Macy’s I was in had mostly size small and medium so not a lot of the collection was available to me. Also, I didn’t see any of the Plus Size items so I don’t know if they just didn’t have any or they were in a different part of the store. At $12.99 the t-shirts were very tempting! But the soft, light colored t’s were somewhat see-through. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Maybe the Kohl’s collection might be better?

Good to know! I am headed to a different Macy’s this week in search of it and, if I find it, I will do a video on the FB page to help people out. Thanks!!
