I have about two draws full of socks. I recently discovered that I’m not alone and that other people share my sock addiction. I can’t wait to add some of these new Stance Disney Socks to my growing collection.
Pixar
Nothing says summer like a new Pixar movie, so it seems fitting to start with some Pixar themed socks. There are three options to choose from. The first are the Buzz Lightyear socks. Buzz is the star of the show, but a few of his friends have come along for the ride. There is Jessie in addition to several other green (and purple!) aliens. We also see Buzz’s spaceship and stars and clouds floating in the background.
The second option is the Monsters, Inc. set. Sulley is at the top of the socks. It looks like he is giving a big belly laugh about what is going on down below him. We also see Boo, dressed like a monster, and Randall. There are little flowers all around and even a few doors and socks with the emergency contamination codes written below them.
The final set is all about Inside Out. Joy is beeping at the top of the socks. Below her, we see a cartoon version of Anger and Envy. There are also a few memory balls and a raincloud, which reminds me of Sadness.
Old School Disney
The next three pairs pay homage to classic Disney films. Dumbo is flying high on the first pair of socks. Below him we see his friend Timothy Mouse directing him as he performs. Baloo is showing us that he might actually be the king of the jungle on the second pair of socks. The lettering on the socks looks like it might be the original lettering from the movie poster.
Finally, Peter Pan zips around on the final pair of socks. He sprinkles fairy dust wherever he goes as he flies over Big Ben and the rest of London.
Disney Princesses
The final collection of socks features three Disney Princesses. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the princesses who appeared on these socks. The first one is Pocahontas. These socks have very earthy tones, which is perfect for the princess that they represent. Multicolored leaves fly in the wind on these socks. I can almost hear Pocahontas singing as I look at them.
The next princess is Mulan. Her socks are a periwinkle blue with red toes. All around her, we see cherry blossoms. There are also a few of her hair combs in the background. Mushu is also waving out to everyone as he passes by them.
The final princess is Ariel. Although she is a more common princess, her illustration is a little bit different. She has an almost cartoon way about her. The socks are black, which really helps to make the seaweed and other sea flowers pop on the socks.
