Okay admit it, you’ve dreamed about being a Disney Princess at least once. For me, it’s more like once a day! Michael Anthony designs debuted a Disney Princess couture collection on Instagram and it is everything!
Michael Anthony goes all out in this collection and creates stunning looks inspired by a full range of Princesses. From Cinderella’s iconic blue gown, to a fierce fur-clad Pocahontas, this collection is completely drool worthy.
Okay, let’s start with what I consider to be the “classic three.” Of course I’m talking about Cinderella, Aurora, and Snow White. These lovely ladies came first and they are still inspiring fashion decades later! I really love how Michael Anthony captured Aurora’s color changing gown in his design.
Next up are the Princesses that I grew up with. These fashionistas debuted throughout my childhood and will always hold a special place in my Disney heart. Michael Anthony definitely captured Pocahontas as the fierce lady that she is! And just look at how Ariel’s fin inspired her mermaid silhouette.
Moving right along our timeline, the recent additions to the royal court are stunning in their couture styles. Just check out those amazing plaid pants on Merida! Yes, please!
To finish off the collection, Michael Anthony included some not-so-common Princess looks. First, his take on Mickey and Minnie Mouse is perfect! I would totally wear that Minnie Mouse dress in a heartbeat! And of course, when you talk about Princesses, someone is always going to mention Princess Leia from Star Wars. Here she is, strong and totally kick-butt.
No word yet on whether these magical designs will actually be produced, but they sure are fun to look at! Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
